Drexel University's School of Education strives to meet the professional needs and career objectives of those who are currently working in the education field, or who wish to pursue careers as teachers, faculty members, education administrators, and staff members at all levels of education. Through challenging coursework taught by experienced faculty, students are exposed to current research and trends on teaching and administration including the latest developments in pedagogy and instructional technology. The School of Education goes well beyond teacher training: it produces education leaders.

The School of Education offers master's and doctoral degree programs and a wide variety of certificate, certification and professional development programs to meet the needs of educators and educational administrators. Drexel University is a premier technology university, and the School of Education provides technologically-based curricula with an orientation in science, technology, and math.

Graduates of the School of Education are known for their creativity, technological savvy, preparedness and leadership skills. The School of Education's faculty members are carefully chosen for their expertise in developing these traits and skills in students. The MS in Applied Behavioral Analysis degree program

Drexel's MS in Applied Behavioral Analysis provides students with the skills they apply evidence-based interventions to guide change in human behavior in both educational and clinical settings. The MS in Applied Behavioral Analysis degree program with the Autism Spectrum Concentration is ideal for students who plan to work with children and adults who are affected by this disorder. The program offers a practicum at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute or with EI programs, residential and community behavior health providers, or educational agencies.

The MS in Creativity and Innovation degree program

MS in Global and International Education degree program

Drexel's Master of Science in Global and International Education degree program prepares students to work within the complex economic, political, cultural, and social structures that shape learning in different parts of the world. Graduates of the Global and International Education program will acquire the leadership skills necessary to develop, analyze, implement and evaluate educational policies at a variety of institutions and organizations, through interpersonal advocacy skills and cross-cultural communication, using emerging information technologies. The MS in Higher Education degree program

Drexel's Master of Science in Higher Education degree program prepares students to lead complex administrative and management positions in university and college offices, national and international associations and organizations, government agencies, foundations, and corporations in the U.S. and around the world. The High Education program offers an interdisciplinary, experiential curriculum of coursework drawn from Drexel's School of Education. Foundation study provides a thorough overview of education from the colonial era to present day "virtual" models and examines the organizational and administrative structure of institutional hierarchy.

The EdD offers an elite professional practitioner's degree as completely online program and in a blended delivery format that combines on-campus classes and online education.

Graduates are prepared for placement as superintendents. Upon completion of the degree program, Drexel University provides graduates the Superintendent Letter of Eligibility required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The PhD in Education Leadership Development and Learning Technologies degree program

Drexel's PhD in Educational Leadership Development and Learning Technologies degree program is designed for those who aspire to be leaders in the field of education as researchers, scholars and instructors in higher education and in other educational settings, such as community or corporate settings. The PhD degree program is grounded in cross-cultural educational leadership, policy, and theory-driven research and demands extensive preparation in quantitative and qualitative research methods. Currently, two areas of concentration are available for PhD students: Educational Leadership and STEM Education.
