Overview

University of San Francisco - About the School of Management

Students of the School of Management at the University of San Francisco benefit from the rigorous academic tradition and social justice values of a Jesuit university, as well as the dynamism and diversity of the San Francisco Bay Area. The exceptional faculty consists of entrepreneurs, consultants, researchers, and business leaders who provide insights across multiple industries and sectors: public, private and nonprofit. USF students grow in their understanding of project and people leadership while simultaneously learning to think beyond the bottom line to the common good.

"Transform your life, leadership and the world from here - San Francisco's first university - USF."

Master of Business Administration Programs: Full-Time and Part-Time

Designed for students of any academic background who have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience (two years of professional experience preferred for Full-Time MBA), these programs combine a foundational core curriculum with a broad elective curriculum that allows students to develop expertise in a selected field of study. Students gain real world experience and insights into the political, legal, economic and cultural dimensions of doing business overseas through an academic global immersion. The full-time MBA is a 21-month program that begins each August. The part-time MBA program is a 30-month program that also begins each August.

One-Year and Accelerated Part-Time MBA

Created for students who have an undergraduate degree in business, economics or industrial engineering, these programs begin each May with eight integrated core courses that cover comprehensive business situations. A broad elective curriculum strengthens the experience and helps students develop expertise in a selected field of study. The one-year MBA is a 12-month program and the accelerated part-time MBA is a 21-month program.

Executive MBA

The USF Executive MBA program is an accelerated 20-month program designed to prepare experienced professionals to become successful executives in today's highly competitive and rapidly changing business world. Applicants are required to have 7+ years of professional experience, of which 2+ years should be in a management position. The Executive MBA program begins each August.
