Observed every March since 1987, Women’s History Month celebrates the accomplishments and contributions made by women in history, society, and culture. From science to the Supreme Court, innovative women lead the way for change and achieved incredible things along the way. To celebrate Women’s History Month, we’ve compiled a list of 11 scholarships designed specifically for women to help you fund your education.

  1. The Boeing Company Career Enhancement Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a woman seeking to advance her career in the aerospace industry in the fields of engineering, technology development, or management. Applicants may be full-time or part-time employees currently in the aerospace industry or a related field, or full-time or part-time students pursuing aviation and aerospace-related degrees at the sophomore level, who are attending a university or a four-year college.
    Amount awarded: $2,500
  2. UPS Scholarship for Female Students
    Scholarships are available to undergraduate students enrolled in any school in the U.S. and its territories, Canada, and Mexico, where (1) the school’s industrial engineering program or equivalent is accredited by an agency or organization recognized by IISE and (2) the student is pursuing a course of study in industrial engineering. 
    Amount awarded: $4,000
  3. Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships
    This program helps women pursue undergraduate and master’s degrees in business management and overcome gender barriers from the classroom to the boardroom. Eligible applicants include women of any age, pursuing a business program with a major field specializing in accounting, economics, finance, business management, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship.
    Amount awarded: $2,000-$8,000
  4. Association for Women in Architecture Foundation Scholarship
    This foundation offers annual cash awards to women studying architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and/or land planning, interior design or environmental design leading to a college degree. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 18 units in their major by the application due date and be undergraduate students attending a university, a four-year college, or two-year college.
    Amount awarded: $2,500
  5. Colonel Kathleen Swacina Scholarship
    This fund awards one female college student a $1,000 scholarship to be applied toward the student’s ongoing higher-level academic education at an accredited four-year school. Community college students in their first two years are eligible if they will continue on to an accredited four-year college or university. Applicants must be studying engineering/technology, mathematics, science, technology, and society.

  6. AWG Undergraduate Excellence in Paleontology Award
    This $1,000 award will be presented to one outstanding female undergraduate student pursuing a career in paleontology. Applicants must be undergraduate students attending a four-year college. A 500-word personal statement is required.

  7. Amelia Kemp Scholarship
    This scholarship provides assistance to ELCA women of color in undergraduate, graduate, professional, or vocational courses of study. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold membership in the ELCA, and have experienced an interruption of two or more years in education since the completion of high school.

  8. International Society of Women Airline Pilots Airline Scholarships
    Scholarships are available to women who are pursuing careers as airline pilots. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have an U.S. FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating and First Class Medical Certificate, and be studying aviation/aerospace.
    Amount awarded: $10,000
  9. NSPE Education Foundation Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded annually to a female undergraduate entering or continuing their junior year of a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. Applicants must be studying engineering/technology and attend a university or a four-year college.
    Amount awarded: $2,500
  10. Ralph W. Shrader Graduate Diversity Scholarship
    Scholarships of $3,000 will be awarded to full-time students (women and minority students), enrolled in their second semester currently pursuing a graduate degree at any U.S. accredited academic institution. Applicants must be studying a STEM/hard sciences-related field, including information technology, cybersecurity, telecommunications electronics supporting defense, homeland security and intelligence communities. Distance-learning or online programs affiliated with a major U.S. institution are eligible.

  11. Adell McMillan Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship was established to assist women in developing their leadership potential within the profession. Scholarship recipients will receive $1,000 in financial support to participate in activities that provide professional development, networking, and leadership opportunities. Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student attending a university or a four-year college.
    Amount awarded: $1,000
