A college fair can be an overwhelming experience. From hundreds of universities to thousands of other students waiting in line, it’s a lot to take in. Luckily, college admission representatives are more than just someone you meet at a crowded college fair booth. From searching for the right academic fit, to applying to the top university of your choice, these representatives are resources for students at any stage of the process.
We interviewed several admission representatives at a recent NACAC fair. They passed along their tip and tricks to navigating the college fair experience, which boiled down to these representatives wanting students to put in as much preparation as possible ahead of time. Your efforts will show these representatives what your motivation and drive is like, and only takes a little conversation and preparation to wow them.
