Research

Focus of faculty research: Viral pathogens that infect human blood cells, cellular metabolism, bacterial hosts and the phages that infect them (BHAP), understanding the the molecular basis of T cell activation and improving the T cell memory response to infectious disease, and engineering improved immunological proteins to combat cancer.
