Master's Degrees	Entrance Exam Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT). Minimum acceptance is 800 on the GRE (verbal and Quantitative) or 30 on the MAT. Scores must be within five years of application to the Graduate Division of the College of Arts and Sciences. Comp Exam Required Thesis Required Practicum and Thesis. The thesis should be an in-depth study by the student on a topic agreed upon with the Research Advisor. It is an independent project, but the Degree Faculty recommends strongly that, whenever possible, it be related to the Practicum.

Master's Degree Requirements	Submission of an official transcript(s) of all undergraduate and, where applicable, of all post-baccalaureate course work. Full admission requires an overall minimum average of 2.5 (on a scale of 4.0). An applicant with a Master's degree must submit both official graduate transcripts to the Graduate Division of the College of Arts and Sciences.
