The Alfred University Closer to Home Award is available to students who apply by March 1 and live in the following counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, & Steuben and Bradford, McKean, Potter, Tioga, & Warren. Students must submit three letters of recommendation as part of the admission requirements. The university offers test-optional admission.
