The Algood and Elizabeth Carlen Endowed Scholarship is open to prospective or current students in good standing by current institutional policies. Preference shall be given to students majoring in physics. If qualified physics students are not available, preference shall be given to mathematics majors. If there are no qualified students in either major, the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences will make the selection based on where the scholarship is needed. All students must enter the name and email address of at least one and up to three recommenders in order to submit the scholarship application. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2024, for new freshmen and current students or May 1, 2025, for new transfer & graduate students.
