Carl V. Gisolfi, Ph.D., FACSM, was one of the most influential leaders of ACSM in its more than 50 years of history. With Gatorade, ACSM created the Gisolfi Memorial Fund to honor his many contributions to the college and to the exercise science field. This grant is designed to encourage research in thermoregulation, exercise, and hydration of doctoral students.
