ADMEI offers a cash award to industry professionals that have recently earned a hospitality credential. This scholarship is in honor of Carol Norfleet, who was a gifted teacher and powerhouse in the field of hospitality. Carol was passionate about helping people learn, grow, and earn coveted credentials. Examples of qualified industry credentials include but are not limited to DMCP - Destination Management Certified Professional; CMP - Certified Meeting Professional; CMM - Certificate in Meeting Management; CSEP - Certified Special Events Professional; and CITP - Certified Incentive Travel Professional. Other industry certifications can be considered and must be shared via the application process. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from industry professionals that verifies applicant's experience in the hospitality industry, commitment and ability in completing the certification program, and aptitude to to deal with the demands of the hospitality industry profession.
