Cookwell and Company Scholarship

Description

Texas FCCLA will award the Cookwell and Company Scholarship to an outstanding member in Texas Association, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. The applicant must be a citizen of the United States and/or be born in the United States and a resident of the State of Texas. If the place of birth of the applicant as indicated on application and/or transcript is other than the United States, appropriate proof of citizenship must be provided. The applicant must be a graduating senior ranked in the upper quarter of their graduating class or have a 3.5 GPA at the completion of the first grading period of their senior year. The applicant must graduate at the end of the spring semester immediately following the awarding of the scholarship. Applicants must have passed the EOC exam as indicated on the transcript. The applicant must have taken either the SAT or ACT college entrance examination and provide proof. Proof of the score may be a part of the official transcript or a copy of the official test results should be attached to the application. The information should reflect the date the test was taken. Applicants must indicate choice of major and career planned. There is no restriction on the major field of study, which the applicant will pursue. Each applicant must submit two letters of personal reference from persons who are well acquainted with them. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact FCCLA for more information.
