The Drs. Sarfaraz and Raafat Family of Awards Sign will be awarded annually to two allied health/healthcare paraprofessional students. The qualifying health paraprofessional programs of study include: Anesthesia Technologist/Technician; Medical/Clinical Laboratory Worker/Technician; Diagnostic Medical Sonography; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technician; Medical Assistant (MA); Medical Laboratory Scientist; Operating Room Technicians; Radiologic Technician/Technologist; Surgical Assistant; and Surgical Technologist/Technician. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a qualifying healthcare paraprofessional program. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students. Applicants must be attending a US accredited institution.
