Fellowships are awarded to musicians based in the United States (although not necessarily U.S. citizens) for whom this would be the first extended period of study abroad. Musicians who have previously studied abroad for an extended period do not qualify for a fellowship. Applicants must not have reached the age of 30 by July 1, 2024.
