Description

The Harold J. West Memorial Scholarship aims to minimize the financial burden for parents working to obtain a college degree. The scholarship will be awarded to parents attending or wanting to attend college while working part-time. Applicants must have a child(ren); their marital status is irrelevant. Applicants must attend or plan to attend a University of California (UC), Cal State University (CSU), or a community college in Southern California. Applicants must have a household income below the county low income level. Applicants may be in college or be a high school senior. This scholarship is open to all majors and there is no ethnicity requirement. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Asian Pacific Community Fund for more information.
