Description

Lockheed Martin has established a scholarship program to provide opportunities to students studying select STEM degrees that demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities. Applicants must be a high school senior, or a freshman, sophomore, or a junior undergraduate student. Eligible majors are Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. They must be planning or currently attending a college or university in the U.S. Scholarship recipients are selected based on consideration of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances and an outside appraisal. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
