The Michigan Technological University Presidential Scholars Program is awarded to new incoming first-year students based on cumulative GPA or a combination of cumulative GPA and SAT or ACT score. This is open to academically talented first-year undergraduate students who are Michigan residents. Students without official scores will be considered for awards based on GPA only.
