The Archaeology of Portugal Fellowship can be used to support research and study related to the archaeology of Portugal, including the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira. This includes, but is not limited to, excavations, research projects, colloquia, symposia, publications, and travel for research or to academic meetings for the purpose of presenting papers on the archaeology of Portugal. The fellowship can also be used by Portuguese nationals (archaeologists and archaeology graduate students) to support research and study in the US.
