The Nicholas Andrasz Academic and Social Service Endowed Scholarship is available to entering freshmen who have graduated from a Virginia Beach high school. The recipient must have a minimum 3.25 grade point average, a minimum 1000 combined SAT score, and spend a considerable amount of non-paid volunteer time helping to make their community a better place. The recognized categories of non-paid volunteer time are Hospital Volunteer, Public Safety, Mentoring/Tutoring, Shelters, and Elder Care.
