  • Since each pharmacy school sets its own admissions guidelines, there is no official passing score on the PCAT. To determine the minimum passing score for your target pharmacy school, speak to an admissions counselor.
  • You can take the PCAT up to 5 times before restrictions are placed on your registration.
  • To register for the exam, visit the official Pearson PCAT testing website.
  • Although test takers are not allowed to bring calculators to the testing site, a software-based calculator can be accessed during the following subtests of the PCAT: Biological Processes, Chemical Processes, and Quantitative Reasoning.
  • A built-in periodic table is provided during the Chemical Processes subtest of the PCAT.
  • Each subtest of the PCAT is scored separately and then combined to derive a scaled score between 200 and 600. This score is then compared to the scores of other test takers to calculate a percentile rank between 1 and 99.
  • Pearson keeps records of your PCAT scores for five years after your test date.
